True Palette ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the True Palette mobile application (the "App").
Note: True Palette does not require account creation to provide its core color analysis services.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Photos and Selfies: To provide color analysis, you grant the App access to your camera or photo gallery. Images are sent to our secure AI processing server and are deleted immediately after the analysis is complete. We do not store your original photos.
- Onboarding Survey: We collect non-identifying information to personalize your color analysis, such as your age range, skin type, and how you heard about us (referral source).
- Contact Information: If you contact us via email for support, we receive your email address and any additional information you provide.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: We may collect anonymized device data (model, OS version) and unique device identifiers to manage subscriptions and improve app stability.
- Usage Statistics: We use aggregated, non-identifying data to understand how the App is used.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Perform the AI seasonal color analysis on your provided photos
- Maintain and manage your premium subscriptions
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Monitor and prevent fraudulent transactions or policy violations
We do not sell your data or use your photos for advertising or profile building.
4. Face Data and Biometric Information
The App processes facial images solely to perform color analysis (undertone, contrast, and seasonal classification). Specifically:
- Selfies are transmitted via encrypted connection and are permanently deleted from our processing environment within seconds of the analysis result.
- We do not derive, store, or sell facial recognition templates or biometric identifiers.
- Your photo data is never shared with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
5. Sharing of Information
We only share information with:
- Service Providers: Cloud hosting (Firebase) and AI processing (OpenAI) bound by strict data confidentiality agreements.
- Legal Compliance: If required by a valid legal request or to protect our rights and user safety.
6. Data Retention
Since we do not use accounts, we do not retain a central database of personal profiles. Subscription data is managed securely via Apple App Store services. Support emails are retained only for the duration of the request resolution.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover such data was provided, we will delete it immediately.
8. Security
We use modern encryption (TLS/AES) to protect data in transit and at rest. While no system is perfectly secure, we follow industry best practices to safeguard the minimal data we handle.
9. Your Rights
